Yep Mr. Garcia, “What a long strange trip it's been.”

Peace Everyone! It's OttO's ol' pal Tom here and I am the guest blogger for the next few days. We have been so many places together and tried more things than there are grains of sand on his beach in Naples. Or the Maryland Shore where our hero is spending the rest of this week and weekend celebrating his 83rd birthday. That's right> 4 Decades of hanging out on Planet Earth. He thinks the Cubs will still win The World Series. That convinced me he still believes in miracles. Dontchathink?



But he has more to do. Much more. Maybe hanging around to see if Kinky Friedman runs for president. Imagine that a politician who says exactly what's on his mind. Or maybe catching a big bird to Colorado and seeing what all the hoopla is about smoking a little weed. After all he drove a garbage truck through the protesters at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. "just a bunch of kids speaking their mind," he told me when we came up with the capitalist hippie's mantra- "Make money Not War"




OttO is working on finding his spiritual center meditating and learning TM (Transcendental Meditation) and we both love listening to our favorite female vocalist Kacey Jones who sings "to get over him I got under you" a reasonable piece of advice I would say. He can still drink a beer faster than me and lifts weights as well as swinging the sticks. We have been on many tv, radio, and stages together promoting his book(s).

Happy Birthday OttO and as your blog continues to grow we look forward to you sharing the keys to success and a long healthy life...and most of all teaching us how to have a lot of fun.
