     I have always felt that running a Company is like going to war
                                         A competition
                    A contest of wills some prosper and survive
                          Some will lose and cease to exist
                                    It is all about strategy 
                                Choose your battles wisely

WORKING

It doesn't feel like work when you are passionate about what you do
                             Building, learning, and moving

THE FUTURE

     The best way to create the future is to: Act, Learn and Build
   If you do this successfully you will prove that Lincoln was right

CREATING CHANGE

                    Being for something will accomplish more
                               than being against something
                           Thinking five steps ahead is good
                               Actually taking them is better

            In life as in baseball always expect that the next ball
                                         will be hit to you 

Grow but don't grow up

Sweatshirt Lament

Don't you have that special piece of clothing that keeps getting better the longer you have it?
For me it is THE MANGY MOOSE sweatshirt that was blue but is now a dull gray with holes and frayed sleeves.

It is like those old work gloves that prevented blisters or that old baseball cap that shielded your head from the sun.

We need to hold onto memories and old recliners and pieces of us that are all broke in and are metaphors for who we are...weathered by time...scarred by experience...yet still around and useful.
