Managing the Metaphorical Matrix

On the HMS Instagram I find I must navigate the mysterious waters of the Unreal Bermuda Triangle where one can get lost in the waters of lost time.

AMBITION

                                      Ambition can't wait
          Rapid change creates discomfort and produces backlash

MATERIAL TASKS

There are two material tasks in life, according to the great John L. Lewis of the United Mine Workers Union: Achieve or acquire some-thing of value or something that is desirable. The second task is to prevent some scoundrel from taking it away from you. 

LEADERSHIP

                               You must have the will to lead
                   You can't be successful leading from behind 

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Rules and regulations are like rocks
Throw a few rocks in a river nothing happens
Throw a lot of rocks in a river, the river stops flowing 
Keep the rivers flowing

CONFIDENCE

            Change your mental state so you always feel confident
               Even if you have no idea what the hell you're doing

WISHING

                    We spend the first half of our lives wishing
                               we looked like someone else
                     And the second half wishing
                             we looked like our former selves

DECISIONS

                          Make the best possible decision based 
                              on how others are likely to React

QUITTING

                                  When you feel like quitting
                                  Think about why you started
                                        Then go back to to work

BECOMING WISER

Becoming a celebrity does not make you smarter just richer
Ageing does not make you smarter it makes your more cautious

BE AGGRESSIVE

                Be Aggressive, take risk's but don't hurt people
                                       while you are doing it 

CRISIS

                               The world is in a crisis mode

              Never take credit for something you supposed to do
                                          or supposed to be

When you put off tough tasks till late in the day because they're          intimidating, you save them for when you're at your worst
Tackle complex tasks in the morning when your mind is fresh

LUCK

                                  Luck is a factor of success
        But the truth is lucky people are always putting  themselves
        in a position to be lucky

MULTITASKING

                       Multitasking is real productivity killer
                      When you try to do two  things at once,
                       your brain lacks the capacity to perform
                                   both tasks successfully

                   Which means your name and your integrity
