AGEING

As Grandfather started to age, his visits became fewer and fewer,
everyone missed the large family dinners
He soon came to live with the family, but the dinners became 
stressful, he had trouble eating and made a mess at the table
Finally he was given a large wooden bowl and spoon to eat with
One day one of the Grandsons was seen sitting at a table whittling 
on a large block of wood--- When asked what he was doing he
replied " I am making a wooden bowl and spoon, for my parents, to use when they get old "

KRISTALNACHT

Kristallnacht the night of the broken glass
Every year around this time my my memory takes me back to
November 10 th  1938 to our home in Vienna Austria
As I watched as a young boy [ age 7 ], the mayhem and violence
against the Jewish population of our City, I later realized that 
this was the beginning of The Holocaust for me and my family 
Kristallnacht occured annually as if it were a national Holiday

willing to accept help
Learn to make your own luck and soon others will be calling you lucky

SEASONS

As we watch the seasons change we quickly realize that we have no control---We can only reflect on the people that used to be in our
life---But there is one thing we are in charge of---We can change
and improve ourselves 

WHY NOT ASK

How often have you decided to ask for help, from friends 
and associates, and then changed your mind--- It was because
you feared rejection or a negative response
Why not just do it, be sincere and depend on the fact that
people have an inherent longing to help
You will also realize that you are also willing to help others
